INTERRUPTING AND CHALLENGING HOMOPHOBIA
This training will help teachers identify and interrupt homophobia in the school context. Participants will explore the experience of homophobia as well as the impact it has on the health, wellbeing, academic and school engagement of SSAIGD students, staff and families. During the course, participants will explore strategies to identify, address and interrupt homophobia to create a supportive and inclusive school environment.
This event is NESA Registered for 2 hours addressing3.5.2 and 4.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation.
