Monday, 1 July 2024 will bring much needed cost-of-living relief from the federal government for all workers, as well as union won wage increases for tens of thousands of IEU members across the country.

Teachers, early childhood education and school support staff will be some of the main beneficiaries of the federal government’s ‘stage 3 tax cuts’ that apply from 1 July.
In addition, tens of thousands of IEU members will also receive their annual wage increase won by their union bargaining campaigns.
