At the Independent Education Union NSW/ACT, we believe that the future of education lies in the hands of our early career teachers. We proudly welcome and support the next generation of educators and leaders within the education sector.

We are focused on providing professional learning opportunities for early career teachers to support their accreditation and registration requirements, student behaviour management strategy and communicating with parents and stakeholders.

We offer a 3 month discount for first-year teachers, along with free membership for tertiary students. Joining the IEU means that when you prepare to enter the workforce, you can access assistance and ask questions about your rights in the workplace.
